My Lenten Devotional 40 Shades of Love was written for those such as myself who struggle balancing faith and life. I am not perfect a fact all who know me will readily attest. The texts 40 days of reflections were written to present a way to make each day a little better for those we love and ourselves.
40 Shades of Love was featured daily each year on my former blog, "Voices of United States," during Lent from 2014 through 2016. The series was read internationally in over a dozen countries by thousands. Today it is available as an e-book and print format published in five languages.
Advent, preparing for Christ the e-book and print editions are my attempt to place in perspective the Christian time of Advent. A time many find to be full of trials and tribulations. A time we should remember Jesus is the reason for this season.
To date it remains my most down loaded Free e-book available on Amazon. I am pleased to announce that beginning Friday June 9th, 2017 the text became availalble in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
Will you be a Hero the e-book highlights three unique mission trips shared with me by three amazing human beings. I also explore the wonderful work of several international as well as local charities noting their history and ongoing mission.
The work holds a very special place in my heart. As one of limited financial means, I feel blessed to in a small way promote their work and have helped raise donations for their causes.
No, I am not a priest or minister. Fortunately, my good friend, the Rev. Canon Jim Shoucair edited my Lenten and Advent series to find appropriate scripture passages to enhance my thoughts for each days reflection.
